Meet Julian

Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio’s College Hill neighborhood, Julian Wilcoxson is a graduate of Purcell Marian High School and the University of Cincinnati. The son of an educator and electrician, he always had a passion for helping people, studying human behavior and the human mind. He has used these observations and his own personal life experiences to craft music that speaks to the black experience, struggles, triumphs, and love.Julian is an advocate for mental health through his own trauma and is striving to eliminate the stigma around therapy and med somatic treatment in the black community.
